Motor Lublin suffered another defeat in the Ekstraklasa, losing 2-1 to Raków Częstochowa on Friday. Despite taking the lead through a precise strike from Kamil Lukoszek, Mariusz Misiura's side could not hold on and ultimately left the pitch empty-handed.
Kamil Lukoszek opened the scoring in the 34th minute with a powerful long-range effort. "The shot from the midfielder on loan from Górnik Zabrze was strong and accurate," the player said after the match. The visiting goalkeeper had no answer. The joy for Motor fans was short-lived, however, as Raków equalised before halftime through Patryk Makuch, assisted by Marko Bulat.
Second half and standings
The second half belonged more to the visitors, who eventually scored the winner in the 77th minute. Patryk Makuch was again the scorer, with Vladyslav Kochergin providing the assist. For Raków, managed by former Radomiak coach Tomasz Kaczmarek, these were their first points of the season.
For Motor Lublin, this marks a second consecutive loss, keeping the team in the lower reaches of the table. After seven matchdays, Motor have just five points and sit in 15th place. Their goal difference stands at 8 scored and 13 conceded. The next opportunity to improve results comes against Widzew Łódź on December 12th.
