Football: PKO BP Ekstraklasa - match: Pogoń Szczecin - Motor Lublin. In recent years, Pogoń have been close to winning the Polish Cup and the Ekstraklasa podium. Robert Kolendowicz, Pogoń's coach, assures that the team's setbacks have not weakened its wings. In his opinion, Duma Pomorza is much hungrier for success than its most formidable rivals on the domestic scene. This is reflected in the movements of the Szczecinians on the transfer market. In the ongoing transfer window, the Granatowo-Bordowych team has strengthened with, among others, midfielder José Pozo from Śląsk and Paul Mukairu, a former winger of FC Kopenhagi. From Pogoń's perspective, however, the key may be the fact that despite interest from foreign clubs, Efthymios Koulouris, the team's top scorer in the previous season, will not leave the team. In the second round of the 2025/26 campaign, Pogoń will be tested by Motor Lublin. Motor, on the other hand, wants to show that it has solidified in the elite and poses a real threat to the league's top teams. We will see if it will follow up on the match from November last year, when it beat Pogoń 4:2.
