Motor Lublin fans have sent a clear message to coach Mariusz Misiury after another match without a win. On Saturday, 19 September, the team drew 0-0 at home with Górnik Zabrze, a result that did nothing to improve their perilous league position.
The club sits 16th in the Ekstraklasa with just six points from nine matches. They have managed only one victory, alongside three draws and five defeats. During the match at Stadion przy ulicy Krochmalnej, a banner was unfurled reading: "Mariusz, our place in the table is somewhat less than luxurious."
Pressure mounts
This ironic message reflects the growing frustration among the club's supporters. Immediately following the draw with Górnik, which was their fourth consecutive league game without a win, pressure on the coaching staff has intensified. Prior to this, Motor lost 2-1 to Raków Częstochowa and 3-2 to Legia Warszawa, and drew with Korona Kielce. Their current goal difference stands at nine scored and fifteen conceded.
The next opportunity to turn things around comes in a few weeks. Motor Lublin will play away at Radomiak Radom on 12 October. The last meeting between these sides, on 6 April, ended in a 1-1 draw.
