Motor Lublin is close to signing another player from Senegal, as confirmed by manager Mariusz Misiura. The club, sitting 13th in the Ekstraklasa table with five points after five matches, is working to strengthen the squad for the challenges ahead.
When will the Senegalese player join Motor?
As reported by Weszło, the transfer of a defensive midfielder from Senegal is practically sealed. All terms with the player have been agreed, and the club has been in constant contact with him for some time. Only visa formalities remain, which are outside the club's direct control. The player already has a work permit for Poland, but his arrival in Lublin still requires patience.
Manager Misiura explained that the new acquisition will not be ready for first-team action immediately. “He joins us with the feeling that we believe in him a lot.” said the coach of the yellow-white-blues. He would be the third Senegalese in the squad after Jacques Ndiaye and Christopher Simon.
Why did two other transfers fall through?
Weszło also reported that Motor Lublin held advanced talks regarding two other reinforcements that ultimately did not materialize. One candidate, with experience in the 2. Bundesliga, decided against moving to Poland after consulting with his family. Another player was set to join Lublin on loan from a top Polish club, but that deal also collapsed.
Misiura admitted that for the first of these moves, the club worked on the transfer for about three weeks. Motor is still looking for reinforcements in the number nine and eight positions and on the wing, though not all negotiations end successfully. The current squad can be viewed on our squad page.

The Lublin club has one win, two draws, and two losses after five matchdays. Their form over the last five games is DWLLD. They have scored six goals but conceded eight, giving them a -2 goal difference. They are six points behind league leaders Legia Warszawa.
