Mariusz Misiura, the 45-year-old manager, took over as Motor Lublin's head coach before the start of the current campaign, replacing Mateusz Stolarski. He previously managed Wisła Płock for two seasons, achieving promotion to the Ekstraklasa with them and then finishing 8th in the 2025/2026 season. Before his work in Płock, he coached Znicz Pruszków for three years, where he also secured promotion, this time from the II liga.
A key figure in Motor Lublin's attack is Karol Czubak. In the five matches played so far this season, he has already scored three goals. Coach Misiura also entrusted him with the captain's armband. Czubak is a former Ekstraklasa top scorer. In the 2025/2026 season, while playing for another club, he netted 18 goals and became the league's best marksman. In his career, he played the most matches (130) and scored the most goals (66) for Arka Gdynia. After a stint with Belgian side KV Kortrijk, where he made eight appearances, he returned to Poland and signed a contract with Motor. He has also played for Widzew Łódź and Bytovia Bytów.
Immediately after the match with Piast Gliwice, the team will focus on the rest of the season. Motor Lublin's campaign so far includes an opening 2:2 draw with Widzew Łódź and defeats of 1:3 to Pogoń Szczecin and 1:2 to Jagiellonia Białystok.
