Motor Lublin secured a point in the 12th round of the Ekstraklasa with a dramatic 2-2 home draw against Zagłębie Lubin. The hosts fought back from two goals down, with the equaliser arriving in the 87th minute.

Sebastian Kerk opened the scoring for the visitors in first-half stoppage time. Marcel Regula doubled Zagłębie's lead just three minutes after the break, assisted by Michał Nalepa. Motor's manager, Kamil Kiereś, was forced to find a response from his team. “We had to react after the break, and the team showed character,” Kiereś said after the match.

The turning point came in the 74th minute when Mateusz Legowski pulled one back. Motor's sustained pressure was rewarded with Mbaye Jacques Ndiaye's leveller with just minutes remaining. This result keeps Motor Lublin in 12th place in the Ekstraklasa standings with 12 points from eleven games played. It marks a second consecutive draw for Kiereś's side, who previously held league leaders Górnik Zabrze to a goalless draw.

Lublin's form over the last five matches reads two wins, two draws and one loss. In their previous outing, they beat Śląsk Wrocław 3-2, and prior to that won 3-2 against Radomiak. The next challenge is an away fixture against 11th-placed Cracovia on Saturday, 31st October.

The team's top scorer this season remains Krzysztof Czubak with six goals. Motor have scored 15 goals so far while conceding 19. The point earned on Wednesday helps maintain a gap to the relegation zone but also highlights a need for greater defensive consistency. The final whistle concluded an entertaining clash that produced four goals.
