Motor Lublin has publicly backed striker Karol Czubak after his omission from the Poland national team squad for the September-October camp. On September 18, the club posted a pointed message on its official Twitter account, stating "14 goals in 2026. A chance for another one tomorrow" alongside a photo of the celebrating forward.

The move is a direct rebuttal to comments from national team selector Jan Urban, who explained Czubak's absence. Urban said the striker lacked enough to break into the national team setup. "For me, he is of course a penalty-box player, one of those who knows how to get there," Urban stated. He added, "First and foremost, he plays with his head, but I think that's enough in the Polish Ekstraklasa, not in the national team."

Czubak, who returned to Poland from Belgium, is a key figure in Motor's attack. This season he has scored five goals in nine appearances, making him the team's top scorer as they sit 16th in the Ekstraklasa table with six points. His total tally since returning is 24 goals. Despite a brief debut for Poland in June, where he played only a few dozen seconds against Nigeria, the club's social media post makes its valuation clear.
