Motor Lublin have announced another signing ahead of the new season. The club has acquired 25-year-old French winger Makan Aiko on a free transfer.

Mariusz Misiura confirmed the player has signed a two-year contract with an option for a further season. Aiko had been a free agent since the beginning of July, following the end of his season with Portuguese side Tondela. He previously spent two and a half years at Dutch club Fortuna Sittard, where in the first half of last season he scored two goals and provided two assists in thirteen Eredivisie appearances. At Tondela, he scored once and registered two assists in eighteen matches.

He is the fourth new player this summer, following Bartosz Bereszyński, Mateusz Łęgowski, and Mihai Popa. The signing aims to bolster the attack of a side sitting 16th in the Ekstraklasa with six points from nine games. Their form over the last five matches reads one draw and four defeats. The next test comes on Saturday, October 12th, away to 14th-placed Radomiak Radom.

Aiko could make his debut in the next friendly, with the club hoping his experience from the Dutch league will aid their fight to avoid relegation.
